Dinisha Mingo is a Las Vegas native. She grew up with humble beginnings in a single-parent household, being the oldest of six children. Due to the issues plaguing her family, Dinisha learned about empathy and serving others at an early age.

Dinisha has over ten years of experience working hands-on in behavioral health with diverse populations, including youth and those with serious mental and behavioral challenges. In 2016, she started Mingo Health Solutions and subsequently founded Solutions of Change, a nonprofit providing free therapy and support services, in 2017.

Dinisha enjoys building her team and serving the community. She has sat on multiple boards related to business, education, faith, and health initiatives. Dinisha has orchestrated community awareness events, including suicide prevention for youth and bringing the dialogue of mental health to the faith-based community.

Dinisha has earned two Master’s degrees (Educational Psychology and Psychology) and is passionate about training, mental health advocacy and awareness, and workforce development. She is equally passionate about holistic health and integrating spirituality and psychology, leading to her current pursuit of a PhD in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s of Divinity at Fuller Theological Seminary.

Dinisha has served as a clinical research fellow for the Black Women’s Spirituality Lab and currently, the Spirituality and Health Lab. In 2021, Dinisha received the Woman of Distinction Award by NAWBO in the healthcare category, was honored by the Urban Chamber of Commerce as the Community Advocate/Volunteer of the Year, and was recognized as top 40 under 40 by Vegas Inc in 2022.

Dinisha is a servant leader and believes in being the change you want to see in the world. Dinisha enjoys singing, traveling, and spending time with her diverse groups of friends. Her unique ability to connect, build rapport, and see people as human first aids in her ability to build relationships and effectively serve others. She is delighted to serve in her Clerkship role at UCLA as a student in training.
