Alaina Burns, M.D., M.P.H.

Dr. Burns is the Medical Co-Director of the CAPPS Program and the Director of the UCLA Thought Disorders Intensive Outpatient Program. She received a joint M.D./M.P.H. degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine before entering the psychiatry residency training program at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. Dr. Burns has a strong interest in the pharmacological and non-pharmacological management of thought disorders.
