Marc Weintraub, Ph.D.

Psychologist

Dr. Marc Weintraub is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in the diagnostic assessment and treatment of adolescents and young adults with mood and psychotic-spectrum disorders. In his clinical practice, Dr. Weintraub uses evidence-based treatments, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and family-focused therapy, to coach clients and teach skills that will help them achieve their goals and live more fulfilling lives.


Dr. Weintraub is also a clinical researcher at the UCLA Semel Institute of Neuroscience and Human Behavior. He receives ongoing support from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) as well as private donors to study psychological treatments for adolescents and adults, and is well-published in the areas of mood disorders and psychosis. Dr. Weintraub most recently has received a NIMH K23 award to study how a mobile application (app) can improve skill practice and treatment outcomes for a transdiagnostic group-based CBT for youth with and at risk for serious mental illnesses.
